Beaded Bracelet

How to Tie a Surgeon's Knot

Cross the threads

Bring your two thread ends together. Cross the left thread over the right (as if you are starting a shoelace knot).

Create the loop

Instead of pulling the top thread through the hole just once, wrap it under and through the bottom thread twice.

Add a second knot

Cross the right thread over the left, but this time, only loop it through the center once.

Tighten both knots

Pull both ends firmly together to tighten the knots. The surgeon's knot is now secure!

  • Grab the strap attachment that comes in your kit
  • Use non-stretchy thread for added strength
  • Add beads to the desired length

  • Knot the beaded strap to the little metal ring on the attachment
  • Make sure your knot is secure
  • Attach the strap to any opening on your phone case

  2. 2Bead to the desired length (around 60cm), leaving some extra thread on both ends
  3. 3Knot each end to one of the sunglasses chain tips (that you can find in your kit). You can also use a lobster clasp if desired
  4. 4Trim the excess thread
  5. 5Attach the chain to your glasses

Keyring / Bag Charm

  3. 3Add beads to either both sides of the thread for a loop charm or through both sides together for a straight charm
